Attraction Details :

The city ruler named the bridge after the Ratsadaphisek (Silver Jubilee) Celebrations of King Rama V. It was a railway bridge that passing World War I and survived the bomb from World War II as Mrs. Lucy Scarling, the then director of the Vijjanari School and advisor for the Allied army, persuaded the army that the bridge was not used for strategic purposes. This wooden bridge was rebuilt with metal bars and concrete in March 1917 to make the bridge more durable. These days, there is no bridge in Thailand that as old as this bridge. There is a special bridge signs featuring a white rooster and a garuda adorn the head of the bridge.
