Phang-Nga Wildlife Breeding Centre has been operating since 1996, in the area of approximately 1000 acres. Its topography is foothill plain, with streams flowing through its centre for all the year. Its tropical rain forest is in a good condition.
Phang-Nga Wildlife Breeding Centre grows numerous endangered species, such as red-whiskered bulbul, Oriental pied hornbill, barn owl, brahminy kite, golden pheasant, green peafowl and Indian peafowl. The Centre also breeds Sumatran serow, porcupine, gibbon, monkey, banded langur, bear and duck. There are also rare plants, for example, parawood, takian sai, banyan, parkia, djenkol beans, rattan and zalacca.
The Centre is open daily from 08:00 - 18:00. It is situated on Petchkasem Road, Tak Dad Sub-district, at the km.33 from Phang Nga city, opposite of Phang Nga Telephone Organization.
