Attraction Details :
Since late 2011 Pattaya got a new attraction, Thailand’s first dolphin show. Near the Phoenix Golf club a new facility was build for the Pattaya Dolphin World & Resort.
Several times a day there are 45 minutes shows. Seating is provided for approximately 2000 people per show (according to staff at the Pattaya Dolphin World). The show is maybe not at the same level as the more famous shows in other parts of the world but it is still entertaining. During the show there are various types of acts with four dolphins.
When we visited the Pattaya Dolphin World and Resort only the area of the dolphin show was actually ready. The swimming area, bungalows etc were still under construction (late March 2012). A food court and a few outlets had already opened to provide the neccessary souvenirs as well as food and drinks.

How to get there :
By Car
Getting to the Pattaya Dolphin World & Resort is easy. You will have to go to the south via the Sukhumvit Road. Pass the Pattaya Floating Market and look for the street signs. The direction is well market with large traffic signs. The Pattaya Dolphin World & Resort is located near the Phoenix Golf Club.
