Ob Luang National Park
Ob Luang National Park is a touristic place creating beautifully and gigantically by the nature. Because of its geographical features where the curvy river runs through the steep and narrow mountain pass, the river stream is then very strong making the loud sound when hitting the cliff. Also, there is a bridge connecting both banks where tourists can experience the amazing view of Ob Luang National Park.
Inside Ob Luang National Park, there are also prehistoric archeology sites such as tombs of the ancients and white drawing in Pha Chang shack where tourists can visit. Besides, nature trails, inflatable-boat rafting and kayaking in the Jam River are offered for tourists to try new experiences.
To visit from Chiangmai city, take the road number 108, Chiangmai- Hod -Mae Sariang route. When you reach Hod district, turn right around the traffic circle and take the road number 108 for another 17 kilometers. The total distance is 105 kilometers and it is the paved road all the way. Along the way from Hod to Ob Luang, the road follows the Mae Jam River or the Salak Hin River and goes around the mountainside.
Another way is to take the bus; there are many routes such as Chiangmai-Hod-Omkoi or Bangkok-Jomthong or Bangkok-Mae Sariang-Mae Hongson. Then take the minibus in front of Hod district for 17 kilometers or take Chiangmai-Mae Hongson which will stop at Ob Luang National Park. From the bus terminal at Hod-Mae Sariang traffic circle, there are 3 routes which are Hod-Mae Sariang, Hod-Mae Jam and Hod-Omkoi; these three buses all stop at Ob Luang National Park.
Entrance fees: 20 baht for Thai adults and 10 baht for children, 200 baht for foreign adults

Getting There: The Op Luang National Park is located 105 kilometres from Chiang Mai town along Highway No. 108 (Chiang Mai-Hot-Mae Sariang). The road stretches alongside the Mae Chaem River and zigzags along mountain ranges. Blue buses originate from the Hot-Mae Sariang roundabout. There are 3 lines of buses: Hot-Mae Sariang, Hot-Mae Chaem, Hot-Omkoi. All of them stop at Op Luang National Park.
