The National Science Museum (aka NSM) is a state enterprise under the Ministry of Science and Technology. It’s located at Technothani, tumbol Klong Ha, amphoe Klong Luang, Pathumthani. There are 3 buildings which are Science museum, natural history museum, and information technology museum.

The museum established by the Royal Decree in B.E.2533 under the control of the Ministry of Science and Technology. The first museum of NSM was developed to commemorate Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 60th birthday anniversary in B.E.2534 with a budget of 650 million baht. The Science museum was built in B.E.2537 and in B.E.2538 the national science museum was established by the decree and published in government gazette on 30 January B.e2538. It was officially opened on 2 June B.E.2543.

Now there is another science learning center at science square. There are science and technology exhibition with an area of 3,000meters. It is located on 4t and 5 floor of Chamchuri Square, opened from March B.E.2554. 

The Science Museum shaped like 3 cubes. There are 6 floors and the area of 10,000 m2 for different kinds of exhibition in each floor such as history of science and technology, energy, science in daily life, and Thai folk wisdom.  

The Natural History Museum has an exhibition over 3,000 m2 on the first floor of the building. It shows biodiversity in Thailand as well as life origination and revolution with illustrations, models, and interactive exhibits that allow visitors to have first-hand experiences in natural science.

The Information Technology Museum is the area of 9,300 m2. It is still under construction. It will display exhibition about technology of communication, computer, and information technology, which will be started in the end of B.E.2554.
