Mueang Boran Ban Ka Rung is an ancient local community located in Tambon Wang Hin. The oval-shaped city has an 800-meter diameter and a single, 20 meter-wide moat. The moat has a year-round, constant flow of water, with a 6 meter-wide earthen dyke.
Various artifacts have been uncovered from the site, including a stone bell, a Buddha image, potsherds, stone axes, ornaments, and ruins of a brick pagoda about 3 kilometers south from the city. In front of the Ka Rung City moat is a shrine of Chaomae Ka Rung on the side of the highway, respected by many of the locals. Mueang Ka Rung was registered as a national ancient monument on 8 March, 1935.
