Because of its stunning beauty, the earthly paradise of Phi Phi Le is almost too beautiful to be true. However Phi Phi Le is 100% authentic beauty abundant with rare flora and fauna as well as the world famous Maya Bay. Grand limestone mountains embrace the white sandy beach and the entire bay, and the impressive Ao Maya shows no sign of human interference despite a large number of tourists that swarm in all day long on a daily basis. In the early morning, one can expect a scene of halcyon seas, white sandy beaches totally devoid of people and rare beach plants like beach morning glory and beautiful seashore screw pine. At Ao Maya, rare hornbills can be spotted to complete the perfect picture of the beach's ecosystem.

The other two tranquil beaches on Koh Phi Phi are within a walking distance to Maya Bay. One is Ao Lo Sama-a small bay with shallow coral reefs and colorful fish. The other bay is Pi Le which is a giant lagoon surrounded by mountains. A dive site along the limestone cliff wall called "Pi Le Wall" is also nearby where one can dive in to admire the beauty of giant sea fans that can be seen in shallow water.
