It is situated on Maha Chak Road, between China Town Road and Charoen Krung Road, one of Chinatown's most popular areas by night. Also known as the Torchlight Market, wares line the floors of the street,shoppers with torches in hand. Vendors start setting up shop on the afternoon of a Saturday at 5 p.m and carrying on until midnight. From pawnshops, collectors,or simply those that have moved on. Toys, old and new, pre-loved and authentic or mass-produced from China are mixed up together and scattered here and there a treasure hunter's dream. Where you also get every day goods new and unused, too. Things may not be expensive, usually ridiculously cheap or reasonably priced. Click to view
