Attraction Details :

Bangsak beach is located in the northernmost part of Khao Lak National Park, with its south adjoining Pakweeb beach. The dominant features are: a fair clean beach, also a pure and simple nature, which definitely make this place beautiful and tranquil. It is suitable for relaxation and a picnic with seafood. Visitors can enjoy landscape under pine trees and swim in the sea as the beach is not steep. There are a great number of sea oak trees and beach morning glories making it shady and pleasurable all the way.  There is a long pavement behind the forest of the beach which makes it is convenient to travel and to find numerous seafood restaurants beside the road with a reasonable price. When visit Phang Nga but do not eat fresh seafood, it is like not experiencing “real Phang Nga”, because Phang nga is a seaside district and a city that is well-known for its natural tourism. Therefore, it is a good opportunity for visitors to try fresh seafood with an affordable price.

A recommendation for travelling at Bangsak beach is that the sea is quite calm in the morning and it gives a peaceful feeling which is very suitable for walking. Moreover, there is a pathway along the beach for visitors to pleasantly walk and exercise in the morning. There is a bridge crosses a pond, which is a result from a storming period causing a big wave to swash into the beach. It is worthy to take a photo to keep it as a memorial. Additionally, watching the sunset on Bangsak beach with its gorgeous view, is an activity that visitors should not miss.

Bangsak beach is situated in Bang Moung sub-district, on Phet Kasem road at the end of Takua Pa mine. At the km.76-77, turn left and go straight for 100 meters. Visitors can also drive to Bangsak beach since the road is in a good condition. If visitors travel from Khao Lak, it will take only 20 minutes by following Phet Kasem road on Khao Lak-Takua Pa route. When entering the road in front of the beach, many pine trees are to be seen along the way. Pine leafs that fall of the trees turn brown and make the road looks even more beautiful.
