GIT Gem and Jewelry Museum is located on Silom road, it is an important part of the institute which is aimed to enhance knowledge and understanding and to motivate youths and general people to recognize the value of Thai gems and jewelry. Moreover, it is the place for conserving gem and jewelry samples for the next generations.
The Gem and Jewelry Museum was officially opened on Thursday 26 August 2004. The institute invited Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra to preside over the opening ceremony of the Gem and Jewelry Museum in order to celebrate the Princess' 80th birthday anniversary and for good fortune of the museum, staff, and all related people.
In this museum, gems and jewelry are completely shown with the idea that visitors can study the origin of gemstones which is the upstream to the downstream where gemstonges are together with precious metal, turning to be valuable jewelry eventually. There are the exhibitions of the origin of various types of gemstones, gemstone cutting, and the categorization of gemstones' and precious metals' quality standard, the manufacturing procedures of jewelry, gold, platinum and silver, as well as synthetic gemstones, imitated gemstones, and crystals.

- Zone B : Gemstones Classification
- Zone C : Diamond
- Zone D : Cutting and jewelry manufacturing
- Zone E : Organic gemstone
- Zone F : Synthetic gemstone
- Zone G : Gold mines and precious metals
- Zone H : Fashion jewelry
- Theatre Room : Show VTR from the origin of gemstones to the production of jewelry and exhibit gemstone fluorescence.
