Attraction Details :

This area includes not only the typical deciduous forests but also a peat swamp forest, which is fed by nearby streams. The area is rich in endemic and rare plants and animals. The most famous native species found locally is the Mealy crab (also known as Pu Thunkramom), which was named by HRH Princess Chulabhorn. A bit larger than the Thai paddy crab, this kind of crab is quite colorful, with purple, orange, yellow and white shells. At present, this animal is a protected species.  This reserve is also a fascinating spot for ecological studies and bird-watching.

This sightseeing spot is located in Amphoe Na Chueak, 60 kilometers from Maha Sarakham town. It is situated on Highway 219 (Borabue- Na Chueak-Phayakkhaphum Phisai), approximately 3 kilometers from Amphoe Na Chueak Office.
