Attraction Details :

This park is part of the Sankala Khiri Mountain Range, and serves as a natural border between Thailand and Malaysia. The area was once mostly inhabited by guerrilla fighters, and as a result, few could travel to admire the natural beauty of the untouched jungle. It was only with the establishment of the Pacho Waterfall Park (later renamed Budo - Su-ngai Padi National Park) in 1974 by the Royal Forest Department that the situation improved. The park occupies nearly 300 square kilometers of land and extends into parts of Narathiwat, Yala and Pattani provinces.

Inside the park there are many waterfalls such as Namtok Phu Wae, Namtok Pacho, Namtok Pako and more. However, the commonly known and easily accessible waterfall is Namtok Pacho.  This waterfall features a high and wide cliff face with a total of nine tiers. It is considered the largest waterfall in the province.

The park is 26 kilometers from the town of Narathiwat. To get there, take Highway 42 to Amphoe Bacho. At the intersection before entering the district, turn to follow a lane branching off the main road for about 2 kilometers to reach park headquarters. Operating hours are 8.00 am-6.00 pm daily.
