 Sixth Siam Paragon Bangkok Royal OrchidParadise commemorates Her MajestyQueen Sirikit’s 80th Birthday Anniversary

Siam Paragon is to hold the “6th Siam Paragon Bangkok Royal Orchid Paradise 2012” in honour of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 80th Birthday Anniversary from 1–10 June 2012 at Siam Paragon.

This year marks the 6th anniversary of the event – the largest orchid exhibition in Thailand, which Siam Paragon hosts in collaboration with public and private organisations. It features orchid contests covering a total of 120 species to compete for the  HRH Princess Sirindhorn Cup and a special prize, HM Queen Sirikit Cup and a certificate, awarded to the most beautiful orchid. There are also exhibitions of award-winning orchids, along with orchid-arranging activities. Orchids and gardening tools are available for sale.

This year also features a special orchid arrangement in honour of HM Queen Sirikit’s 80th Birthday Anniversary.  A white peacock with a tail made of Phalaenopsis orchids can be seen at the Botanical space on M floor, Siam Paragon. A host of magnificent orchids in various species and colours can be admired at this inspiring event.

The “6th Siam Paragon Bangkok Royal Orchid Paradise 2012” is open to visitors, free of charge, from 1-10 June 2012 at Siam Paragon.
