Abseiling is a thrilling activity once simply reserved for rock climbers, spelunkers, and mountaineers who needed to get down steep inclines. Fun as that sounds, safety is a genuine concern, and as Thailand has many opportunities for abseiling, it is important to make sure that adequate safety equipment, including a helmet and proper shoes are provided and worn.

Bungee jumping is an extreme activity requiring even less ability than abseiling. Simply allow the proprietors to attach the enormous rubber band to your feet and jump from the platform, typically 165 feet (50m) above the ground. The bungee cords are designed to allow you to fall within a reasonable distance from the ground before bouncing you back into the air several times. It’s an extreme rush that those daring to attempt will never forget.
