Thai Flying Club offers a 60 hour PPL course for Thai and Foreign students. If you are interested in learning, you can come to Bang Phra and fly on the weekends (after you have completed your ground school training). The Thai Department of Civil Aviation requires students to complete a formal ground school course before taking the DCA exams (given once every 3 months). You need to have 60 flight instruction hours logged before you can sit the written exam (including 10 hours solo and 5 hours x-country). The cost of the Ground school is 27,000 Baht and this includes the following materials -- Flight Bag, Map, Flight Computer, AIP Thailand, Jeppesen Private Pilot Manual
