With an impressive range of pampering treatments on offer, Absolute Sanctuary stands up there with the very best of Samui’s spas. Take the road from Chaweng to Choeng Mon, and the lane leading to Absolute Sanctuary is just a few hundred metres on the left after you pass Karma Resort. Follow this lane to the very end and you’ll arrive at this lovely place with its sea-views on one side and mountain-views on the other. And the first thing you’ll notice is the absolute peace and quiet out here.
The architecture is stunning. White, brown and orange walls predominate, with brightly coloured decorative tiles and touches of gold here and there creating a most pleasing Moroccan style. And this design follows through into the spa area and the treatment rooms themselves. Of which there are six open-air salas for Thai massage and four air-conditioned suites for everything else.
