Thale-ban national park is named after a vast freshwater swamp. The word Thale-ban is thought to be derived from Loet Roeban in Malay, which refers to a geographical phenomenon called ‘a subsiding sea’ or the subsidence of earth. The miracle of Koh Hin Ngarm is considered a beauty that tourists should not miss. Visitors will have to take a boat from Pak Barama ferry landing to Lipe Island, the center of tourist attractions in the Tarutao National Park area.

If you are still not tired, you can also visit the twin islands of Koh Ardang and Koh Rawee before returning to Koh Lipe. If you are lucky enough, you will be able to see the beautiful sunset at the end of the day.
