Khao Samo Pun

Khao Samo Pun is situated in Khao Yai National Park. The landscape is a vast plain combined with grassland and stone fields with marshy capillary water on sandy soils. Many tiny plants such as ueang nuanjan, ma wing, soi suwanna, yard namkang, dusita, and sarat chanthon invite tourists to join a feast of blossoms at the beginning of winter. Various spectacular sights can be seen distinctively from each flower field, namely, widely scattered ueang nuanjan and ma wing in na pha fields, and crowded dusita and dok ya khao gum in the prommajan field. The ngorn nak field is appealingly decorated by flamboyant ngorn nak thriving amid tall plants and grassland while a plains blackfoot carpet spreads all over the tarn thai field. The suriyan field is a not-to-be-missed sightseeing spot, the climax of Khoa Samo Pun, owing to a combination of the fields and vivid multicolored blooming flowers. Apart from the beautiful flower field, if walking along the cliff line, there are many viewpoints to enjoy the scenery. There is also a campsite with small streams flowing down to the lower levels. On clear weather days, there is magnificent aurora and mountain mists in the cool season.
