Enjoy once a year during winter!

The glittering silk of “Jim Thompson” has made this brand popular throughout the world. Jim Thompson farm also possesses good looks just like the beauty shown on its products.

Every year in winter, a small district named Pakthongchai at Nakorn Ratchasima warmly welcomes many tourists visiting the Jim Thompson Farm. Here visitors can learn the stories of the northeast region and appreciate many beautiful gardens.

Tourists can see the process of producing silk and view the stunning scenery of Payalak Mountain and Lamsamlai Reservoir as a background. Children can enjoy the flower gardens, vegetables growing without soil and the most interesting thing for the children is the large pumpkin zone. For parents, they can enjoy the northeast culture such as the ancient house and the northeast style food. There are various kinds of northeastern food served at Jim Thompson Farm such as chili papaya salad, Thai style curry and many other Thai traditional dishes. All of these are served in small zinc saucers just like the ancient Thai style of living.

Visitors can also relax at the Baan Thoong Spa. All of these activities guarantee that visitors will come back again another time.

Jim Thompson Farm is open only one period in the year from the end of December until the beginning of January. For those who do not want to drive they can also use the Jim Thompson van service that includes a round trip travelling fee and the entrance fee.
