Lord Jim's Overview
This is the home of sophisticated international seafood. Lord Jim's offers a spectacular daily lunch buffet: the mouthwatering selection includes fresh seafood and steamed fish as well as top-notch meat and poultry items. Dinner is a la carte, with a menu that suggests a subtle Japanese influence. For starters, Lord Jim's famous iced seafood tower is a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. Rock lobster, tiger prawns, oysters and other delights are beautifully displayed on a tower of ice. White crab meat salad with remoulade is delicate and delicious. Vine and oven-dried tomato tartar with guacamole, wakame seaweed and pink peppercorn dressing is an ideal vegetarian alternative. For main courses, barramundi fillet with pan-fried duck liver comes with smoked garlic and squid ink risotto; the flavours merge surprisingly well. Rare-grilled black eye tuna is exquisite with sauteed artichokes, mushrooms, wasabi potato mash and vine tomato and anchovy sauce. Desserts are divine.
