First, we search around this area for a nice place to eat, and finally decide to try Keereetara Restaurant, since it gives the best view comparing to other restaurants. Located on 43/1 Maenam Khwae road, Ta Makham district in Kanchanaburi province, this restaurant opened only two years ago, but has now become a well-known restaurant among local people and tourists.
The restaurant is decorated in hotel style and divided into two zones; an easy zone which is a bit far from the water and a water zone close to the river. At nighttime, the restaurant will be swamped with pleasing scent of lemongrass, providing the charming atmosphere for visitors.
Beside from the wonderful view of the bridge on the left side opposite to Felix Hotel, this restaurant provides several delicious dishes at economical rate. At night, the lights on the river bank are turned on to allure insects to play with the light, and you will see hundreds of fish swimming around trying to eat the insects. Isn’t it amazing?
