Fatboy's Diner Overview

This is like taking a step back into the 1950s; one half expects Elvis to walk in at any moment. For those not so hungry there is a large bar for people to sit at and enjoy sampling from the excellent drinks list. Going hand in hand with the 50s look are the classic Fatboy deluxe shakes which offer everything from banana and butterscotch to strawberry and tiramisu. Add to this the traditional American sodas which have such a diversity in flavours including those of root beer and kiwi fruit, and reasons for this eatery’s popularity are clear. Omelettes and French toast are superb as is classic burger and chilli ‘n’ cheese dog. As can be expected, the burgers and sandwiches are the star attraction here and are great. Not quite the real McCoy perhaps, but near enough to evoke a wave of nostalgia from sons and daughters of Uncle Sam.
