‘Baan Khanitha’ is two award-winning Thai restaurants, the brainchild of Khanitha Akaranitikul, an elegant lady who once made her name as a designer of beautiful fashion garments for her ‘Khanitha Thai Silk’ boutiques.
Perceiving the need for somewhere to enjoy high quality Thai food in a traditional atmosphere and to match her expectations of cuisine service and decor, Khanitha founded ‘Baan Khanitha Thai Cuisine’ (Khanitha’s Home) on a Thai-style house in Soi Sukhumvit 23 on November 4, 1993
With a homely Thai ambiance, the use of traditional and antique handicrafts and sculptures, paintings, plants, decor, and delicious Thai cuisine served in beautifully custom designed plates and dishes, Baan Khanitha was an instant success
