This is a public park located within a Wat Wai Niao temple compound where locals come to feed plenty of fish. Among several kinds of fish, it is one of the few places in Thailand to find sangkawat fishes, a type of shark catfish, which make their presence after 7.00 pm. There is also a folk museum exhibiting local artifacts and amenities.
Opening hours: Daily 8.00 a.m.- 6.00 p.m.
Getting there: It is situated in the area of Wat Wai Niao, Tambon Wai Niao on K,. 92-93 of Highway 323.
From Bangkok, drive on Highway 323, Km. 92-93, the same route to Boran Sathan Phong Tuek. After coming off the Chantharubeksa Bridge, turn right and go along the route on the Mae Klong riverside for about 3 km. to get to the fish sanctuary.
