Situated in a temple named Wat Morakot, Sa Morakot Archeological Site holds special significance for Buddhists. The most fascinating attraction is the largest and oldest Lord Buddha’s “footprints”, carvings made from natural laterite. On both soles, artisans carved the Buddhist Wheel of Dharma. The footprints were created between the 7th and 9th centuries.
