Phra Padhone Chedi was formerly in an upside-down bell shape similarly to other Chedi built in Dvaravati period. Due to its location in the middle of the ancient city of Nakhon Chaisi, several artefacts were discovered during excavations, ranging from Buddha images, heads of Buddha images and Buddha images in terracotta, as well as a bronze figure of a garuda gripping naga under its claws, which is an official symbol of King Rama VI.
Getting there: Two kilometers further from the east of Phra Pathom Chedi down on Petchakasem Road.
