Wat Pha Nam Thip, Amphoe Nong Phok, Roi Et
This large, white Chedi (stupa, a religious relic-containing structure), is said to enshrine the holy relics of the Lord Buddha. It is located in Wat Phanam Thip, a temple. The massive structure has five levels, comprising a large hall, an assembly hall with images depicting the life of the Lord Buddha, a shrine hall containing 101 life-size marble images of highly-respected Northeast region monks, a museum, and a winding staircase leading to a hall where the relics are held.
To get there, take the Roi Et – Phon Thong – Nong Phok route. It is about 80 kilometers from Roi Et town along Highway No. 2044 and 2136.
