Amphoe Na Dun, Maha Sarakham
Ku Santarat was once a stone religious sanctuary built during the reign of King Jayavoraman VII. This Bayon-style building was completed between 1157-1207, its square laterite structure similar to Ku Mahathat. Now it lies in ruins, though the front doorway has a remarkably beautiful lintel.
Ku Santarat is on the way to Na Dun district. To get there, take Highway No. 2040 past Kae Dam and Wapi Pathum, then turn right onto Highway No. 2045 and continue for 1 kilometer more.
