This is where you witness and gain better knowledge about stars and astronomy. Opened in 1996 to promote astronomy science, the observatory lets visitors try watching the stars through their 16-inch telescope along with guidances and lectures.
Opening hours: It is now open for group of students with advanced reservations only.

Getting there: Kirdkao Observatory is situated in Lum Rang, Bo Phloi district. From Bangkok, take Highway 323 and turn into Highway 3086 (Kanchanaburi-Bo Phloi). At Km 49, a direction sign of Air Marshal Samroeng Kirdkao’s farm is on your left. Turn left and continue for 3 km.
