Attraction Details

Located in the area of Wat Pa Mancha Khiri, Chang Kra had grown over 4,000 wild orchid-Rhyncostylis gigantean (Lindl.) over the past century. Every year during January, the area will be filled with full bloom of these wild orchids which spreading its mild fragrance all over.

Getting there: The temple locates one kilometer Amphoe Mancha Khiri or 57 kilometers from Khon Kaen downtown. Visitors can use Highway 2 (Mitraphap Road) from Bangkok before turn left to Amphoe Chonnabot to Highway 229 (Chonnabot-Mancha Khiri). The entrance of the temple can be seen on the left before reaching Amphoe Mancha Khiri which is 35 kilometers from Mitraphap Road. Alternatively, from Khon Kaen, visitors can take Highway 2731 and 2062 through Amphoe Phra Yuen.

By Car
