Tambon Ban Phai, Amphoe Sawang Ha, Ang Thong
The Ban KhuMueang area is the site of an important archeological dig. Scientists discovered the ruins of an ancient city, believed to have existed during the Dvaravati era. A wide moat and earthen mound, pottery shards, animal bones, beads and medicine grinding stones were uncovered at Ban KhuMueang.
Though presently only a water canal remains at the site, Ban KhuMueang continues to be historically significant for the Kingdom.
The site is located in Tambon Ban Phai, 4 kilometers from the north of Amphoe Sawaeng Ha and 3 kilometers from Bang Rachan stockade.
